Both the Round and Square models have hit their lowest prices yet
The Amazfit Active 2 has dropped to $109.99 for the ‘Premium Round’ model (down from $129.99) on Amazon, with the retailer also discounting the other versions of the Zepp Health smartwatch.
While we rate the original edition more highly, the Square equivalent is also available at a price cut—$119.99, down from $149.99—while the cheaper ‘Sport’ editions of the Round style are discounted (down to $84.99), too.
While Amazfit is known for its value and reliable entry-level watches, this price cut pushes the Active 2 family into must-consider territory.
In our review of the Active 2 last year—and also in our guide to the best entry-level smartwatches—we highlight it as a contender for the budget watch crown, and that title is even more secure with an extra $20-$30 knocked off the sticker price.
What you get from the Active 2
For a watch that now costs just over $100, the feature set here is pretty ridiculous. You’re getting full mapping capabilities—a feature usually reserved for watches costing three times as much—along with support for external heart rate sensors and a punchy, bright AMOLED display.

In our testing, we found the experience to be incredibly smooth for a budget device. It handles notifications well, tracks sleep reliably, and the build quality feels more premium than the plastic casing suggests.
While we noted that the heart rate tracking can struggle slightly during high-intensity interval training (HIIT), the support for external chest straps solves that problem for serious athletes.
The choice between Round and Square is purely aesthetic, as the internals are identical. And whether you prefer the classic watch look or the Apple Watch-esque square design, you’re getting one of the most capable budget wearables on the market for a near-unbeatable price.
So, if you want a fitness-focused smartwatch that doesn’t demand a nightly charge and offers genuine navigation tools for your weekend hikes, this is the deal to grab.
