Garmin is preparing to launch a minimalist smart band called CIRQA. A now-removed product listing briefly appeared on the company’s own site, suggesting two sizes. From the info, a mid-year release is looking likely.
CIRQA Smart Band surfaces on Garmin’s site
An official product page for the “CIRQA Smart Band” was spotted on Garmin web stores in the US, Canada, Brazil, Chile and Mexico, featuring part number 010-04675-00. The listing showed size options (S/M and L/XL) and two colour choices: black and French gray. While no photos or specs were available, the listing did include an “Add to Cart” button and stated that shipping would begin in 4 to 5 months. That points to a possible release timeframe around May or June 2026.
The page has since been taken offline, but screenshots are still circulating. There’s no official confirmation yet from Garmin, but the overall context strongly suggest that CIRQA could be Garmin’s long-rumoured answer to Whoop and other screenless recovery bands.
To add credibility to the info, Garmin had also set up corresponding support pages for the CIRQA Smart Band in a number of countries. Those, too, have now been removed.
CIRQA likely stands for something. Some possibilities might be Continuous Insights and Readiness Quantified. Or maybe Circadian Rhythm Quantified. But those are just guesses.
Garmin’s first real step into screen-free wearables?
CIRQA is likely to go one step further than the Index Sleep Monitor. Which means is will focus on all-day and all-night health tracking without the distraction of a watch face. It may borrow ideas from Whoop or even Zepp Health’s Helio Strap, leaning into sleep metrics, recovery scores and workout syncing. The lack of a screen would push everything to the Garmin Connect app.

This type of product has been regularly requested in Garmin user forums for years. Many want something smaller, lighter and less intrusive than a full smartwatch. Some have even taken to wearing their watch on an ankle just to get passive tracking. CIRQA may finally be the company’s answer to that.
Our takeway
We did a search to see if there are any retailer leaks or regulatory info. Nothing is available, but it is still too early for that type of info. We also did a teardown of the latest Garmin Connect APK. Again, no mention of the device.
If Garmin is planning a summer launch, we can expect more details in the months ahead. This may include an FCC and other regulator filings, or early retailer uploads. For now, the leaked product and support pages add weight to previous rumours of a display-free band with a long battery life and minimal interface.
Hopefully, CIRQA will not require a subscription for full functionality. The company has started to paywall some insights behind Connect+, such as the recently rolled out nutrition tracking feature. The device’s appeal will likely hinge on price, comfort and how well it tracks key recovery metrics.
Garmin will likely want to avoid mimicking Whoop’s form factor too closely. That design has become the subject of recent legal disputes, with Whoop taking action against Polar and, more recently, the company behind the Luna fitness band – after they introduced products with a similar look.
