What you need to know
- Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 4 series renders have leaked, and the allegations claim the buds will see another redesign.
- The Buds 4 Pro continue to feature a silicone tip (the Buds 4 does not); however, both versions see a redesign stem with rounded corners.
- The charging case was another factor, as rumors state the case could enable the buds to lie down inside with a clear lid.
In the midst of Galaxy S26 series leaks, there’s another report this week that has surfaced the alleged renders for the earbuds that may join it.
A batch of supposed Galaxy Buds 4 series renders were posted by Android Headlines today (Feb 3), and it seemingly gives us a clear look at what we might expect. It’s no surprise that the Galaxy Buds 3 and 3 Pro featured a slightly varied design. One boasts a silicone eartip, while the other does not. According to the publication’s renders, this may continue with the Buds 4 series.
The Buds 4 Pro’s design has changed. The main body, with the silicone tip, is still quite bulbous; however, a change may arrive for its stem. Instead of the triangular stem that we have with the Buds 3 Pro, the rumored renderings showcase a flat stem that’s rounded at each end.

The flip side showcases the pins for the earbuds to charge inside the case. Speaking of the case, this is also set to change, just as previous rumors purported. The renders claim the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro’s case will let the earbuds sit flat inside to charge. The top of the case seems to have remained see-through.

On the other hand, we have the base Galaxy Buds 4 renderings. These suggest the company could keep the design sort of the same, as it still will not have a silicone ear tip. With a somewhat curved, bulbous body to help consumers with a comfortable fit, the Buds 4 may still sport a design users are somewhat familiar with.
More than that, the stem has changed to mirror that of the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro this year with its rounded corners. The publication also alleges that the Buds 4 will lie down in its charging case, like the Pro variant, too. It also appears that its lid will be transparent.
The Buds 4 were shown in a black colorway, the same as the charging case, while the Buds 4 Pro are in white. It’s not stated whether these will be the only two colorways for the models.
Galaxy Buds 4 series rumors were getting off to a fast start this year, as its colors were called to attention. Reports claimed the Buds 4 Pro could receive a rose-gold-like color called “Apricot.” This was discovered through Samsung’s early One UI 8.5 build, similar to its alleged charging case changes. A more recent rumor claims that the Galaxy Buds 4 series could also see similar pricing as the Buds 3 series, alongside an included wireless charging pad.
Android Central’s Take
It looks like Samsung is changing its Galaxy Buds design again, and it makes me wonder if its frustrations with how the previous iteration looked were a catalyst this year. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see how things truly look, as rumors have said these could debut with the Galaxy S26 later this month. I think the designs look okay. Not great, not anything else but “okay.” Perhaps they lack a bit of integration, considering the stem looks like it’s bolted on top of the driver part. I’m indifferent to say the least right now, but maybe that’ll change.
