We’re less than a week from the Galaxy Unpacked, and there’s quite a bit to be excited about. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is expected to be fully unveiled at the event, and while we don’t know everything just yet, rumors and leaks have painted a pretty good picture of what to expect. Not to mention, Samsung has already begun teasing its next phones, meaning the hype train has already left the station.
Given the leaks and rumors, we want to know how you feel about the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Are you excited about the flagships?

From the outside, the Galaxy S26 series may not look like a huge departure from the Galaxy S25 series. The design is expected to be largely the same, with renders revealing phones with flat sides and tight corners. The displays also appear flat, as do the back panels, except for the camera housings.

The renders show that, instead of individually protruding cameras like on the S25 series, the three main sensors will sit in a vertical housing. Additional sensors on the S26 Ultra will sit directly on the back plate.
We also have an idea of the colors these phones could come in, including Sky Blue, Cobalt Violet, White, and Black.

Regarding the Galaxy S26 specs, the phones are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, likely with a “for Galaxy” branding and an extra bit of umph. That said, the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus may be powered by the Exynos 2600 chipset in certain regions, which could be quite an improvement over the Exynos 2500.
We can expect at least 12GB of RAM on the base and Plus, while the Ultra may be equipped with 16GB, just like the S25 series. One difference may be that the base S26 may drop the 128GB model and come in just 256GB and 512GB models, similar to the Plus. With any luck, this won’t result in a price increase.

Otherwise, it looks like the camera specs should be about the same: the S26 and S26 Plus will reportedly feature a 50MP triple camera system, while the S26 Ultra will likely have a 200MP quad-camera system. The latter may come with larger apertures on some lenses, which should help capture more light and improve low-light photography.
Battery specs are rumored to be 4,300mAh, 4,900mAh, and 5,000mAh for the S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra, respectively. This means the base model is getting a welcome increase, which we love to see. However, only the Ultra may receive a bump in wired charging speeds to 60W, which sounds quite appealing. Unfortunately, it looks like built-in magnets are a no-go once again, so cases may be required for Qi2 wireless charging.
Lastly, we expect the phones to run One UI 8.5 out of the box, with improvements, new features, and an upgraded Bixby experience.
Let us know if you’re excited for Samsung’s upcoming phones and if so, what you’re most excited about!
