A new pairing string suggests Zepp Health’s premium titanium climber is finally getting a sequel
Amazfit appears to be preparing the long-awaited successor to its most rugged outdoor smartwatch, with references to a ‘Falcon 2’ found in the latest Zepp app update.
Discovered in a teardown of version 10.0.8, the code contains a specific pairing identifier: ‘support_bind_falcon-2025’.
The original Amazfit Falcon launched in late 2022 as the brand’s high-end answer to the Garmin Fenix range, featuring a titanium unibody, 20 ATM water resistance, and sapphire glass.
Despite its premium positioning, the line hasn’t been refreshed in over three years.
However, the ‘2025’ suffix in the new code suggests the device may have been originally slated for a late last-year release, indicating a potential slip in the production timeline.
The Falcon 2 appears in the code alongside other upcoming models, such as the Cheetah 2 Pro, which recently leaked in an ambassador training video.

Stuck in the backlog?
Still, unlike the Cheetah, the Falcon 2 has not yet appeared in global regulatory database leaks in recent months—usually the best way to know if an official announcement is imminent.
So, it’s also very possible that a full announcement is being held back until later this year. After all, Zepp has been on a tear in recent times, announcing the Amazfit Active Max, T-Rex Ultra 2, and Active 3 Premium in just the last three months alone.
When you consider the Cheetah 2 series looks set to be the next cab off the rank—and that the launches will probably take a breather at some stage—the Falcon might not be ready until after the summer.
As ever, though, we’ll keep track of the rumors relating to this one over the coming months. Stay tuned.
