The OPPO Watch X3 is now official, the company’s brand-new smartwatch. It was announced alongside the OPPO Find N6 (review) in China, though we’re still not sure if it’s coming to global markets.
The OPPO Watch X3 is official and it looks similar to the OnePlus Watch 3
As you can see in the provided images, the OPPO Watch X3 has a round display with two buttons on the side. The design is very similar to what the OnePlus Watch 3 offers, actually.
The top-right button doubles as a rotating crown, while the bottom-right button is customizable. The watch has a standard set of lugs, and you should be able to fit any 22mm watch band on it, if you don’t like the official one.
This watch is compatible with Android 10+ and iOS 14+, while the ColorOS Watch 16 comes pre-installed. The case is made out of titanium, actually. A couple of color options are available, at least in China.
It has a great LTPO OLED display
There is a 1.5-inch display on the front, with a sapphire glass cover. It’s an LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The peak brightness is 3,000 nits, which is extremely high, especially for a watch. You’ll never need it, though.
A 646mAh battery sits inside the watch. You’ll be charging this thing via the included charger at 7.5W. OPPO says it takes around 75 minutes to fully charge the device, and the watch magnetizes to the charging puck.
A 5-day battery life is expected, 3 days with heavy use. That’s around the same as what OnePlus promises for the OnePlus Watch 3, actually. The Snapdragon W5 chip from Qualcomm fuels this watch.
Bluetooth 5.2 is included, while the OPPO Watch X3 also supports eSIM. You can get 4G speeds here.
There are a ton of health and sports features included
The OPPO Watch X3 has a ton of health features as well. It supports Blood pressure testing and has a 60-second physical examination feature. That covers 14 indicators across three scenarios.
This watch can also measure wrist temperature, while blood oxygen monitoring is also included. Sleep tracking is a part of the offering as well, along with sleep quality assessment and sleep apnea assessment.
There are a ton of sports modes included here, over 100, along with a ton of additional features, including an AI sports coach feature.
It comes in three different options
The watch comes in Universe Star Orange, Gravitational Black, and Unlimited Titanium colors (machine translated from Chinese). The pre-sale price is CNY2,799 ($402) in China. If it makes its way to more markets, it will be more expensive.
