Aaditya Sawant (Dynamo Gaming) Biography

Aaditya Sawant, better known online as Dynamo Gaming, is an Indian gaming streamer and video creator from Mumbai who rose to prominence through PUBG mobile

Early life and background

Aaditya D. Sawant was born on 3 June 1997 in Mumbai. He grew up in the city and completed a graduation in business management. From a young age he was drawn to video games; he has recalled spending small amounts of money at game parlours rather than on snacks as a child. His family includes his father Deepak Sawant, mother Vaishali Sawant and a sister, Aaradhya Sawant, who works as a model.

Career

Sawant began uploading gameplay videos to YouTube in 2010, using the name Dynamo Gaming inspired by the television show Dynamo Magician. Early on his channel had only a few dozen subscribers, but his audience grew substantially after PUBG launched in India. Streaming PUBG mobile helped him become one of the game’s better-known Indian players, and he popularised catchphrases such as "Patt Se Headshot" and "Baap Se Panga Nahi Lete Bete" during live broadcasts.

He formed an in-game clan called Hydra Clan and expanded his online presence by launching a second channel, Dynamo Vlogs, in 2020. As of August 2021 he had built a strong subscriber base on his main YouTube channel. Sawant has said he studied PUBG techniques by watching other prominent players and that time management and gaming as a stress reliever played a role in his daily routine.

Public profile

Physically, Sawant is listed at approximately 173 cm (5'8"), with black hair and black eyes. He is a Gemini by birth sign. Off-camera he plays guitar when time permits, and he is a dog owner with two pets named Dobby and Nobita. His maternal uncle Sameer Kandalkar assists with producing his livestreams. He met DJ and producer Alan Walker in 2019.

Sawant has driven interest in the gaming community through live streams and public appearances. He has also faced public scrutiny: an on-stream incident in September 2019 drew backlash for remarks he made, and on other occasions he has denied accusations circulated online about using modified game software. He has said that after some missteps he took a break from streaming and later apologised before returning to live broadcasts.

Style and interests

Sawant's on-screen persona and tag lines contributed to his rise within the Indian PUBG scene. He owns vehicles including an Audi and a Yamaha YZF-R3 motorcycle. He has a tattoo on his right forearm with Mandarin characters. He has described drinking alcohol and maintains an active presence on social platforms and streaming sites.

Latest updates

By 2021 media outlets reported monthly income and an estimated net worth for Sawant; those figures were published in outlets referenced in profiles of the creator. In 2019 he was ranked first in voting for the first round of the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge. He continued to broaden his content with vlogs and maintained a leading role among Indian gaming creators as of mid-2021.
