Aatm Prakash Mishra was born on 15 August 1992 in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. Raised in a Hindu family, he grew up in his hometown before moving away to pursue formal training and a career in the performing arts. His father, Hrishi Kesh Mishra, worked as a teacher; his mother is a homemaker. He has a brother named Gyan Mishra and two sisters.

Mishra completed his schooling at Ravindra Nath Tagore Inter College in Bahraich and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. He trained at the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama and later pursued a master’s degree in performing arts and theatre at the University of Mumbai.
