His parents are Savriqul Muhammad and Rooh Afza. As a child he was diagnosed with rickets, a growth hormone deficiency, and because his family could not afford the recommended medical treatment, his growth was stunted. He left school early but later learned to read and write and completed formal education up to class 10.
Career
Rozik began singing at a very young age, performing in local bazaars and on the streets of his hometown to help support his family. He learned many songs from cassette recordings and developed a passion for music that would become his profession. In 2019 he launched a formal music career and released tracks that reflect his personal experiences, including the songs “Ohi Dili Zor” (2019), “Chaki Chaki Boron” (2020), and “Modar” (2021).
His performances and online videos drew wider attention, and a Tajik blogger-rapper known as Baron (Behruz) helped him move to Dubai and supported him during the early stages of his career. Rozik’s YouTube channel hosts his music and performance videos.
Rozik’s profile widened through several international opportunities. He received a UAE Golden Visa as a teenager and has been promoted as a UAE resident. In 2021 he was invited by the president of the International Boxing Association to the opening ceremony of the World Boxing Championship in Serbia, and he undertook boxing training under former British world champion Amir Khan. He has also participated in mixed martial arts events and was involved in a widely discussed potential match with Russian social media personality Hasbulla in 2021.
His crossover into Indian entertainment brought further visibility. A video of Rozik singing the Hindi song “Enna Sona” went viral in 2021. He performed at the IIFA awards in Abu Dhabi in 2022, where he sang a classic Bollywood song and met Salman Khan. That same year he appeared on the reality television show Bigg Boss season 16 and was later cast in the Salman Khan film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He has performed alongside Indian composer A. R. Rahman, including playing piano and sharing a stage performance.
Rozik’s work is managed globally by the UAE company IFCM, and he has received several honours, including a World Boxing Council belt presented by the council’s president and multiple awards recognizing his influence as a celebrity. He was also presented with an official Barcelona FC jersey bearing the number 10.
