Abhay Chintamani Mishr was born on 24 November 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Raised in the city where he continues to live, he completed his schooling at S.C.D.B. High School in Mumbai and later studied at KPB Hinduja College of Commerce and Malini Kishor Sanghvi College of Commerce and Economics. He holds a Bachelor of Mass Media degree.

From an early age Mishr showed an interest in performing. School memories include participating in fancy-dress and character portrayals, and that enthusiasm continued through college where he took part in acting competitions.
