He grew up with roots in Daudpur, Jehanabad, Bihar, and completed his schooling in Patna before moving to New Delhi for higher studies. He attended St. Stephen’s College, where he graduated. His parents are Chandrasekhar Singh, who worked at the Reserve Bank of India in Patna, and Shanti Singh.
