Adhvithi Shetty was born in Mangalore, Karnataka, and grew up in a family that encouraged performing arts. She and her twin sister Ashwithi were born five minutes apart. The sisters showed an early aptitude for dance and participated in competitions from a young age.

Adhvithi attended Arnolds High School in Hyderabad and went on to study at St. Aloysius College in Mangaluru. She completed higher studies at the Manipal Institute of Management, earning a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources after a Bachelor of Commerce. Before committing full-time to the entertainment industry, Adhvithi worked as an HR professional.

Career

Adhvithi entered the public eye through dance and modelling. As children and adolescents she competed in and won dance events; later she took part in televised dance reality shows including Dance Dance and appeared on India’s Got Talent (season 4). Her modelling work included print and commercial assignments for brands such as Colgate, Santoor, and SHEIN, and she has walked runways at various events.

Her first film appearance came in the Kannada romantic drama Mr and Mrs Ramachari (2014), in which she and her twin sister both appeared. Adhvithi continued to build a film career with roles in Suli (2016), Kaarmoda Saridu (2019) where she played Dr Priya, Girgitle (2019) as Adihi, and the lead in Fan (2019). She featured as the lead in IMAD (2020) and Sugar Factory (2022). In 2018 she portrayed Durga Bhabhi in the short film Mahaan Hutatma, a project focused on freedom fighters that later received a National Film Award.

On television and digital platforms, she appeared in the Star Suvarna serial Eradu Kanasu (2017) and in the web series Bengaluru Queens (2017). Expanding into music, she sang the Kannada song Nanne Eega in 2021.
