Adithya Menon was born on 6 April 1974 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Soon after his birth his family relocated to Al Satwa in Dubai, where he grew up and completed his schooling at Our Own English High School. He later moved back to India at the age of 18 to pursue higher studies and opportunities.

He graduated from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology in Bangalore with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering. During his college years he worked as a radio host with Radio Midday and regularly hosted campus events, which set the stage for his later work as an emcee and performer.

Adithya comes from a Malayali family with roots in Palghat, Kerala. His parents are Csk Menon and Suseela Menon, and he has a brother named Kamal Menon. Personal details that are publicly noted include that he identifies as an atheist and that his food preference is non-vegetarian.
