Ahmed Aamir was born on 6 July 1992 in Karachi, Pakistan. Raised in a Muslim family, he spent his childhood and school years in Karachi, attending Bay View Academy and Karachi Grammar School before moving to London for higher education. His family includes his father, Aamir Liaquat Hussain, a television anchor, his mother Syeda Bushra Iqbal, who has worked as a television host and is also a lawyer, and a sister, Duaa Aamir, who is an artist.

Ahmed's parents separated when he was young, and after the divorce he lived with his mother. He showed an aptitude for academics from an early age and completed GCE O-Levels and A-Levels prior to university study.
