Early life and background

Akshay Kharodia was born on 2 May 1996 in Kota, Rajasthan, where he spent his formative years. He attended Maheshwari Public School in Kota and later pursued further studies at Allen Career Institute in Kota and Graphic Era Hill University in Uttarakhand. He also completed a course in film production and direction in 2016 and attended the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune.

Athletic from a young age, Kharodia won a national taekwondo competition in 2014 and has training in martial arts and gymnastics. His family background includes his father, Khuman Singh; his mother’s name is not publicly listed. He was raised in a Rajput family and follows Hinduism.

Career

Kharodia began his career working behind the camera, spending nearly five years as an assistant director before moving into modelling and acting. A modelling agency approached him early on, and he went on to appear in print campaigns for brands such as Big Bazaar, Max, Cascade and Rexona. He has also been featured in television commercials, including a spot for Kalyan Jewellers that paired him with actor Amitabh Bachchan.
