Alison Doody was born on 9 March 1966 in Dublin, Ireland. She grew up in Dublin, attended Mount Anville Secondary School and later enrolled at the National College of Art and Design. Doody left college before completing a degree and went into modeling after being approached by a photographer when she was young.

Career

Doody transitioned from commercial modeling into acting in the mid-1980s. Her screen debut came in 1985: she appeared in the James Bond film A View to a Kill as Jenny Flex and had an early television credit in the same year on Deceptions.
