Early life and background
Amit Diwan was born on 25 March in Delhi and grew up in West Delhi. He attended St. Marks Senior Secondary Public School in Janak Puri before completing a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from GGSIPU. His stated hometown is Delhi, and he lists playing cricket among his hobbies.

Career
After finishing his MCA in 2012, Amit began a mixed path of freelance projects and institutional work. Early in his career he took a Python freelancing assignment at age 22 and later held positions at IIT Delhi, Pusa (as a Research Associate), and the University of Delhi (as a System Analyst) between 2012 and 2015. He was hired by Accenture but chose to remain in his then-current role and continue freelancing while he developed plans to build his own IT business.

In 2016 Amit worked with C# Corner in Noida as a Technical Manager and Technical Content Manager; during this period he was recognized with an MVP (Most Valuable Professional) award from C# Corner in 2015.
