Amitabh Dayal was born on 4 May 1971 in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. He attended Mission School in Bilaspur and went on to study engineering, completing a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical disciplines. He also trained in animation and graphics, qualifications he later referenced in professional profiles. Dayal was listed as having Indian nationality and his zodiac sign was Taurus.

Career

Dayal entered the Hindi film industry with his on-screen debut in Kagaar: Life on the Edge (2003), portraying the character Bhaskar Sarnaik. The performance brought him early recognition and a nomination for Best Debut Actor at the Zee Cine Awards in 2004.
