Amol Kale was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra, in 1976 into a family with deep roots in local education and public life. His father Kishor Kale and his mother both worked as teachers, and his grandfather Malhar Kale helped found Nutan Bharat Vidyalaya and served as an MLC for the teachers’ constituency. Raised in an environment connected to schooling and civic engagement, Kale attended Saraswati Vidyalaya School in Shankar Nagar from 1982 to 1992 and later earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from Nagpur University between 1994 and 1997.

Kale’s early public involvement included grassroots political activity in Nagpur. While Devendra Fadnavis was mayor of the city, Kale served as the ward president of Abhyankar Nagar on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket, a position he later relinquished to concentrate on his business interests.

He moved into contracting with the Nagpur Municipal Corporation and then founded Arpita Enterprises in January 2002, where he served as chief executive. In August 2014 he launched J K Solutions Private Limited in Nagpur and took on the role of CEO. The firm’s activities encompassed electrical engineering services, business development consulting, real estate, healthcare, and transport and logistics.

Kale’s involvement in cricket administration grew into prominent leadership. On October 21, 2022, he was elected president of the Mumbai Cricket Association, winning the post over Sandeep Patil. He previously held the vice-president role at the association, and reports noted that longstanding ties with political figures in Maharashtra aided his rise within the MCA. Beyond cricket, Kale was a trustee at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam in Andhra Pradesh, reflecting his participation in broader institutional and religious boards.
