Career

Aneri made her television debut in 2012 with a role in Kaali - Ek Punar Avataar. She gained wider recognition for playing Nisha in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins (2014–2015), a role that brought her award attention and nominations. She received the Star Parivaar Award for Favourite Beti for that serial in 2015 and earned nominations at the Indian Telly Awards and Asian Viewers Television Awards the same year.

Following her television success, Aneri expanded into digital and film work. She appeared in the web series Cookies (2020) as Arundati Singh and acted in the Telugu film FCUK - Father Chitti Umaa Kaarthik (2021), portraying the character Priyanka. Aneri participated in reality television as well: she took part in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12, describing the experience as an outlet for her adventurous side.

Throughout her career she has picked roles selectively; in interviews she has said she avoids projects that require bold scenes. On set she has pushed through physical setbacks to finish work, once sustaining a hairline fracture and ligament tear while shooting for Nisha Aur Uske Cousins but completing the scene before seeking treatment.

During the COVID-19 pandemic she also supported the youth-led Find a Bed initiative, which aimed to provide real-time information on hospital bed availability.

Personal life and public perceptions

Aneri is unmarried. Media coverage has at times focused on her appearance; in 2018 she faced online comments about her weight after sharing swimsuit photos. That year she was also the subject of dating rumours with a former co-star, which she and the other actor described as unfounded and said they were just friends. She has stated that she values privacy and has declined offers to join certain reality shows because she prefers not to live publicly in that format.
