Early life and background

Angela White was born on 4 March 1985 in Sydney, Australia. She grew up in her hometown and later attended the University of Melbourne, where she completed a degree in gender studies. Described as a strong student who graduated with honors, White considered further academic work and at one point contemplated pursuing a PhD.

Career

White entered the adult entertainment industry shortly after turning 18, making her debut in 2003. Over the following years she established herself as a prominent figure in the field. She has been recognized by industry publications and award bodies; notable honors listed include a 2018 AVN Award for Favorite Female Porn Star and awards from Score Magazine, where she was named Voluptuous Model of the Year in 2007 and Hardcore Performer of the Year in 2011.

In November 2013 she launched an official website under her own name. Her work and visibility within the industry have drawn attention beyond Australia: XBIZ described her as one of Australia’s best-known adult performers.

Beyond performing, White has been involved in political activity. She ran as a candidate for the Australian Sex Party (now the Reason Party) in the Victorian state election of 2010. In 2013 she and another candidate, Zahra Stardust, made headlines for filming a pornographic scene together, an action noted as a first for political candidates.

Public profile

White identifies as bisexual and is unmarried. Her public persona includes preferences and hobbies such as listening to music, watching movies, traveling, drinking coffee, and visiting Las Vegas. Physically, she is listed at approximately 160 cm (1.60 m, or 5'3"), with blue eyes and dark brown hair.

Personal views and background notes

White has spoken about pornography as a form of celebration, describing early impressions of the medium as showing diverse people, locations and configurations of sexuality in a positive light. She has recounted that from a young age she was drawn to the medium and sought to work in it once she was legally able. During her school years she experienced social criticism and labels related to her sexuality.
