Early life and background

Angeline Mariya was born in 2003 in Pariyaram, Chalakudy, in Thrissur district of Kerala. She grew up in Chalakudy and completed schooling up to the twelfth grade, finishing her studies with distinction. Her parents are Delson and Reji Delson; her parents later divorced. She has a brother named Agnel Delson.

In interviews she has spoken about difficult experiences in childhood and adolescent years. During her school years she received diagnoses of obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and bipolar disorder. She has also described periods of severe distress, including suicidal thoughts and self-inflicted injuries. Angeline is an animal lover and keeps several pet dogs.

Career

Angeline entered modelling and acting in her late teens. She was a runner-up in a beauty pageant in 2019 and took part in the Malabar Fashion League in 2020. Her early screen work included a television appearance in the series Kabani in 2020. She has credits in feature films, with a 2019 project titled Velleppam that was not released and a 2023 film called Nalla Samayam that was released. She has also appeared in a Malayalam music album.

Angeline was one of the contestants on the Malayalam reality television programme Bigg Boss season five. She was officially announced as a participant on 26 March 2023 and was the youngest contestant in that season.

Angeline is known publicly as both an actress and a model and is sometimes referred to by the nickname M Chechi. Physical details reported in public sources list her height as approximately 160 cm (about 5 feet 3 inches) and figure measurements reported as 36:30:32.
