Early life and background
Anil George grew up in Yamunanagar, Haryana, in a Christian household and discovered an early love for performance through church plays and Bible-based skits. Those formative experiences and a youthful habit of travelling to nearby Saharanpur to watch films helped shape his desire to pursue acting. He began his craft on the theatre stage in Delhi before making the move to Mumbai to work in film and television.

Career
Anil’s on-screen journey began in television with the patriotic series Yug on DD National in 1996. He later appeared in episodic roles on the Star Plus horror anthology Ssshhhh…Koi Hai in the early 2000s. His first recorded film role was a brief appearance as a taxi driver in the 1999 Hindi film Kabhi Paas Kabhi Fail.
