Anjali Merchant Majithia was born in Mumbai in 1989 into a business family. She grew up in the city and completed her schooling at The Cathedral and John Connon School followed by Ecole Mondiale World School. Her higher education included a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management from Babson College and later an MBA from London Business School. While still a student she co-founded Turn The Campus in 2010, a free online marketplace for college communities, and served as its Chief Operating Officer until 2012.
