Anjana Shajan was born in 1995 in Hyderabad and later associated with Thrissur, Kerala as her hometown. She completed schooling at Atomic Energy Central School 2 (AECS2) in Hyderabad and went on to study at Sri Chaitanya Junior College ECIL. Her medical education included training at KMCT Ayurveda Medical College and postgraduate study at the Kerala University of Health and Sciences.

Career

Trained as a physician, Anjana balanced her medical work with a growing presence in modelling. While employed as a doctor at KMCT Medical College Hospital in Manassery, Kerala, she began participating in beauty pageants and commercial work. Two male passengers who were travelling with them survived and received medical treatment at Ernakulam Medical Centre.
