Ankit Gupta was born on 6 November 1988 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He grew up in the state and completed his graduation at IPEC Engineering College in Ghaziabad. Before entering the entertainment industry he supported himself through tuition work and spells in call centres, later moving into modelling in Delhi and eventually relocating to Mumbai to pursue acting.

Career

Gupta began his onscreen career with a film debut in 2012, appearing as Nalender Yadav in Tutiya Dil. That same year he made his television debut with Balika Vadhu, playing Dr. Abhishek. In the years that followed he worked across television, film and digital platforms, taking on roles in shows such as Begusarai (2016), Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi (2017), Mayavi Maling (2018), Kundali Bhagya (2020) and the web series Illegal - Justice, Out Of Order (2020).
