Anula Navlekar was born on 18 June 1995 in Mumbai, where she was raised. She completed undergraduate studies at Christ University in Bangalore, earning a BA that combined literature, psychology and performing arts. She later pursued professional training in drama, completing a Master of Fine Arts at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University between 2017 and 2020.
