Anurag Dobhal was born on 18 September 1997 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, into a middle-class family. His father, Jagdamba Prasad Dobhal, worked as a government school teacher, and his mother, Kalaa, is a homemaker. He has a younger brother, Atul Dobhal, who works as a lyricist and rapper.

As a child Anurag faced a serious health challenge: he was diagnosed with a brain tumor around age four and required years of treatment and regular checkups. The family endured financial strain during that period, and his mother sold personal belongings to help cover medical costs. Over time he recovered from the illness and went on to excel academically, scoring highly in his twelfth-grade exams.

Anurag attended Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School in Patel Nagar, Dehradun, and later studied at D.A.V. Post Graduate College, Dehradun. He completed a B.Com and continued his studies to earn an M.A. in Economics and a B.Ed. While in college he supported himself by tutoring students, charging modest fees and using those earnings toward his goals.

A longtime enthusiast of KTM motorcycles, Anurag saved money from tutoring in order to buy his first KTM. Once he acquired the bike, he began recording rides and uploading videos.
