Aparna Balamurali was born on 11 September 1995 in Kerala and raised in Thrissur. She comes from a musical family: her father, K. P. Balamurali, and her mother, Sobha Thekke Adiyat, are both musicians. Aparna has an older sister, Karthika Vaidyanathan. She attended Devamatha CMI Public School in Thrissur and later studied architecture at the Global Institute of Architecture in Palakkad, earning a Bachelor of Architecture.

Career

Aparna began her screen career as a teenager. Her acting debut came in the Malayalam film Yathra Thudarunnu (2013) when she was around 18 years old. Over the years she has built a cross-industry profile, appearing in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu cinema. Her Tamil debut was 8 Thottakkal (2017), in which she played the role of Meera Vasudevan. She made her Telugu debut in Sarvam Thaala Mayam (2018) as the character Sara.
