Aparna Mulberry was born on 16 November 1991 in Portland, Oregon. Her family background includes time spent across several countries: her maternal family lived in Chile and Argentina before moving to Germany, and her parents later settled in the United States. Aparna moved to India at a very young age and grew up largely in Kerala, where she attended Vivekananda Central School and Amrita Vidyalayam for her early schooling.

She lived in India from about age three until fifteen, then returned to the United States for around a decade before relocating to Spain in 2017. As of 2022 she was residing in France.
