Aparshakti Khurrana was born on 18 November 1987 in Chandigarh, India. Raised in a family with strong artistic and public-facing ties, he grew up playing sports and showed an early interest in performance. During his school years he served as sports captain and went on to captain the Under-19 Haryana cricket team, reflecting a long-standing connection to sport alongside his creative ambitions.

After completing his formal education, Khurrana earned a degree in law and moved to Delhi in 2009 to practise at the Delhi High Court. He ultimately decided that a legal career was not for him and shifted into media and entertainment, starting as a radio jockey.
