Early life and background

Apeksha Porwal was born on 29 August 1993 in Mumbai and grew up in the city she still calls home. She completed her schooling at Smt Sulochanadevi Singhania School in Thane and went on to graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai with an honours degree in Economics. From a young age she showed interest in modelling and performance, training in Kathak dance and pursuing acting studies later on.

Career

Porwal began her public career in beauty pageants, winning Miss Teen India International in 2009 and earning several other notable placements over the next decade. Her pageant credentials include titles and runner-up finishes such as Femina Miss India Delhi (2015), first runner-up at Miss India Worldwide (2015), and second runner-up positions at both Miss Diva and Miss Universe India in 2017.
