April Benayoum was born on 16 March 1999 in Aix-en-Provence and raised primarily in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Her childhood involved frequent moves because of her father's career in the gendarmerie, which took the family to towns including Menton, Martigues, and Éguilles.
