Archana Jois was born on 24 December 1994 in Ramanathapuram, Karnataka. Raised in a middle-class family, she grew up alongside two sisters, Vaishnavi and Harshini. From a young age she showed a strong interest in dance and acting, regularly taking part in school programs and events.

Jois completed her schooling at institutions that include New Oxford English School, Navchetna School and Poorna Learning Center. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in Fine Art from SASTRA Deemed University before focusing full time on a performing career.

Archana began auditioning for television serials and films after finishing her education. Her television debut came in September 2015 when she appeared in the TV show Mahadevi, playing a character named Sundari. Her performance on the series brought wider recognition within Kannada television and led to additional small-screen work.

Her television work drew the attention of filmmakers, and she was cast in the 2018 Kannada film KGF Chapter 1 in the role of the mother of the protagonist, Rocky Bhai.
