Arjan Dhillon was born and raised in Bhadaur, Punjab. He completed higher education at Punjabi University, Patiala, earning a Master of Performing Arts and has mentioned preparing for a Ph.D. in an interview. Growing up in Bhadaur left a lasting impression on his creative work; Dhillon has said that characters, language and scenes from village life frequently surface in his songs. Career

Dhillon began writing songs as a teenager and continued to develop his craft while completing school. He made his singing debut on the soundtrack of the Punjabi film Afsar (2018) with the song "Ishq Jeha Ho Gaya," and released his first independent single, "Shera Samb Lai," in June 2019.

As a songwriter, Dhillon has penned material for a number of well-known Punjabi performers, including Diljit Dosanjh, Gurnam Bhullar, Ranjit Bawa and Nishawn Bhullar. He also collaborated with Nimrat Khaira on several tracks, and contributed multiple compositions to the 2019 film Afsar. His breakthrough as a performing artist came in 2020 after the release of several songs including "Bai Bai," "My Fellas," and the widely popular "Jatt di Janeman."
