Early life and background

Arjun Chakrabarty was born on 5 March 1990 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Raised in a family connected to the performing arts, he is the son of actors Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and Mithu Chakrabarty and the younger brother of actor Gaurav Chakrabarty. Arjun attended Assembly of God Church School in Kolkata before going on to St. Xavier’s College, where he completed a Bachelor of Mass Communication and Videography. He grew up in Kolkata and holds Indian nationality.
