Arjun Kalyan was born on 4 July 1994 in Andhra Pradesh, India. Raised in an environment that led him to pursue higher education alongside his interest in performance, he completed a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and went on to earn a Master of Computer Science. His training in the performing arts includes a diploma in acting, directing and playwriting. His formal studies took him to institutions such as the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), the University of Kentucky and the New York Film Academy.

Career

Arjun Kalyan began his acting journey with a featured film debut in 2013, playing the role of Ramudu in the Telugu movie Chinna Cinema. He continued to explore short films and web-based projects, appearing in multiple short films in 2015 including Upma Tinesindi, Pseudocide and the silent short Unspoken, which drew attention from South Indian viewers.

In 2016 he took part in the Telugu film Premam and the same year made his debut on the small screen with the web series Nenu Naa Girlfriend. He kept working across formats, appearing in the 2017 short film Quantum Love and the 2019 short Snigdha.

The year 2021 saw several screen appearances: he had a role in Varudu Kaavalenu, joined the web series Misamma, appeared in Naari Naari Naduma Murari and played a photographer in the film Playback. Later that year he was cast in the comedy horror Bomma Adirindi Dhimma Tirigindi. In 2022 he was seen in the Telugu film Pellikuturu Party.
