Aruba Mirza was born in September 1994 in Karachi, Pakistan, and is primarily associated with Islamabad as her hometown. She studied at the University of Karachi. Aruba is Pakistani by nationality and follows Islam.

Aruba launched her acting career in television. Her on-screen debut is recorded as the 2014 Express Entertainment drama Behkay Qadam, in which she played the role of Aliya. She has since appeared in a range of Pakistani TV productions across several networks.

Early television appearances include roles in serials such as Batashay (2015) for ARY Digital and Babul Ka Angna (2016) on Geo Entertainment.
