Arushi Chawla was born on 26 October 1994 in Delhi, India. Raised in a middle-class family, she attended Mount Carmel School in Delhi before going on to Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi, where she completed a B.Sc. in Chemistry. As a child she trained in martial arts and competed in school-level events, once receiving a trophy presented by former cricketer Ashish Nehra.

While still in college Arushi had opportunities that broadened her exposure: she spent around a year and a half in Europe during her second year, and in her final year she represented India at the World Art Festival in Scotland through an invitation from Delhi University.

Career

Arushi’s professional interests span modelling, dance and acting. She has worked as a dance faculty member with Verve: Dance Crew beginning in 2017 and went on to establish her own dance studio, Artistic Athletes, in 2018. Her early public recognition increased when she placed as third runner-up in the Cocoaberry Girls contest in 2019.

On screen, Arushi made appearances in both advertising and entertainment. She featured in television commercials for brands including Parachute Advansed Hair Oil, Hero Bike, Mountain Breeze Strips and Ponds White Beauty Cream. In 2020 she took part in the reality show MTV Roadies Revolution, which is among the credits that brought her wider visibility. Her film debut is listed as Love Aaj Kal (2020).
