Aryan Vaid was born on 4 July 1976 in Bombay, Maharashtra. He grew up in Mumbai and attended Rose Manor Garden School in Santacruz (West). He later graduated from Mithibai College and also pursued a catering course at Dadar Catering College. Vaid practices Hinduism and his family includes his mother, Tarna Vaid, and three sisters: Meena, Sheetal, and Poonam.

Career

Vaid began his public career in modelling and won national and international male pageant titles in 2000, taking the Mr India and Mr International World crowns. He parlayed his modelling profile into work in entertainment, appearing as an actor in films and short films. His acting debut in short form came in 2001, and he made his feature film debut in Campus (2002).

Beyond acting, Vaid has credits as a writer and director on short films. He wrote Life of Big – T (2017) and directed the short When Doves Cry (2018). On television, he was a contestant on the first season of the reality show Bigg Boss in 2006.
