Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan was born on 7 May 1991 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He studied at Carmel Garden Matriculation Higher Secondary School in his hometown before completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT), Coimbatore. He later earned an MBA from PSG Institute of Management (PSGIM), Coimbatore.
