Ayesha Zeenath was born Ayshath Zeenath Beevi A P S on 7 June 1993 in Kasaragod, Kerala. Raised in a family that includes a sister, Nusrath Syed, she completed her schooling at Ambedkar Vidhyanikethan English Medium Higher Secondary School in Kasaragod. After finishing higher secondary education she moved to Chennai to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree at M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women. She practices Islam and is commonly known by the professional name Ayesha Zeenath.

Career

Ayesha began her on-screen journey in Tamil television. Her first television appearance came as a participant on the Star Vijay reality show Ready Steady Po in 2017. The following year she made her acting debut on Sun TV's Maya, playing the role of Rani Lakshmi Prabhavati, and soon after secured the lead role of Rohini Selvam Gautham in the serial Ponmagal Vanthal.

From 2019 onward she became a prominent presence in Tamil serials. That year she took on the title role in Sathya, which brought greater visibility and led to a Best Actress award at the Zee Tamil Kutumbam Viruthugal Awards in 2020 for her work in Sathya season 1.
