Ayush Badoni was born on 3 December 1999 in Kwili Village, Devprayag, Uttarakhand and grew up in New Delhi. He attended Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and later studied at Sri Venkateswara College in New Delhi. His father, Vivek Badoni, is a documentary filmmaker and his mother, Vibha Badoni, worked as a teacher. He has a brother named Pratyush Badoni.

Badoni has been described as a fitness enthusiast who enjoys swimming and is an animal lover who shares moments with his pet dog on social media. He also has a tattoo on his right hand.

Career

A right-handed batter who bowls right-arm offbreak, Badoni came through age-group cricket and was part of India’s Under-19 setup. He played a notable role in the Under-19 Asia Cup in 2018, contributing a 52 from 28 balls in the tournament which helped India secure the title.
