Ayush Gupta Biography

Ayush Gupta is an Indian Reiki healer, celebrity tarot card reader and numerologist who gained recognition as one of the youngest practitioners in hisfield

Early life and background

Ayush Gupta was born on 3 September 2002 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Raised in a family that encouraged his interest in spiritual and healing practices, he credits his father, Kashi Prasad Gupta, with introducing him to Reiki at a young age. He completed his secondary education at Raigarh Military School in Mumbai and later enrolled at Bhavans College, Mumbai.

Career

Ayush began training in Reiki and tarot under the guidance of Devank Shukla, a Reiki Grandmaster at Vishwa Reiki Sansthan in Pune. He developed his skills from childhood and began practising Reiki on family members before moving on to formal training and public practice.

At age ten, Ayush set a national record in Reiki healing in India on 12 April 2014 and received a certificate and accolade for that achievement. Over the following years he established healing centres to provide services to clients: Sadguru Healing Centre in Madhya Pradesh and, later, Ayush Reiki Healing Centre in Mumbai. By 2021 he reported having treated more than 20,000 patients.

Alongside Reiki, Ayush works as a celebrity tarot card reader and numerologist. Names from the Indian entertainment industry are among the clients reported to have received sessions from him. He has also given live Reiki sessions on Indian radio and organised workshops and seminars across India to teach and promote conventional Reiki methods.

Public profile

Ayush has appeared on national television, including a January 2020 appearance on the reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati, where he met Amitabh Bachchan. He is active on social media and shares healing and tarot-reading videos; his Instagram account has a large following and he maintains a presence on Facebook as well.

In 2021 he published a book titled REIKI-SPARSH CHIKITSA, which he described as a reflection of his experiences and a tool to help spread awareness about Reiki. Media coverage and newspaper articles have profiled his work and the future-predicting and healing procedures he uses.

Ayush has described his approach to distant Reiki work as involving photos and healing crystals, and he refers to the use of distance-healing symbols within Reiki practice to connect with recipients who are not physically present. During the COVID-19 pandemic he provided Reiki therapy to patients and reported positive results; his mother’s recovery from cancer is noted as an influence on his confidence in the method.

Personal life

Ayush is Indian by nationality and, as of 2021, was reported to be unmarried. His family includes his father, Kashi Prasad Gupta, who is described as a politician; his mother Sushma Gupta; a sister, Aarvika Gupta, who works as an actress; and a brother, Prajwal Gupta, who is a writer.

Physical characteristics and style

He is described as having black eyes and black hair. He has been photographed with a range of Indian celebrities and is sometimes pictured using a hookah in images he shares on social media. A Thar is listed among vehicles associated with him.
