Early life and background

Azinkya Jaishankar Mishra was born on 7 September 2011 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Raised in a family that includes his parents, Jai Shankar Mishra and Renu Bala Mishra, and his siblings Achintya Mishra and Kalki Mishra, he grew up in Indore before attending school in Maharashtra. As of 2022 he was enrolled at Tree House High School in Virar and studying in the 6th standard.

Career

Azinkya started working as a child model at around five years old, appearing in television commercials and print shoots. Early modelling work led to acting opportunities, and he made his television debut in 2019 on the StarPlus drama Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, playing the character Honey Rocky Saluja. His performance on that series brought him attention from casting directors and helped him secure further roles on television.

Following his debut, Azinkya appeared in several Hindi television series, including Maharaj Ki Jai Ho (2020) and Rakshabandhan… Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal (2021), in which he portrayed the young Shivraj Singhsaal Singh. Building on his TV success, he transitioned to films and made his Bollywood debut in 2022 in the action movie Rashtra Kavach Om, directed by Kapil Verma. In that film he played the younger version of the character Om Rathore, a role portrayed in adulthood by Aditya Roy Kapur.
