Early life and backgroundBastien Bouillon was born on May 19, 1985, in France. He is the son of stage director Gilles Bouillon and actress Clémentine Amouroux. His parents later divorced. Bouillon trained in drama, studying at Cours Florent and later attending the Conservatoire Supérieur d'Art Dramatique, where he did not complete his course after disagreeing with the institution's pedagogy.
Career
Bouillon began working in film and television in 2009, making early appearances that include the film Les Destruction and the TV series Equipe médicale d'urgence. He also appeared in the telefilm Notre Dame des barjots in 2010. In addition to acting, he has worked behind the camera; his directorial debut was the short film Moha (2010), which later won Best International Short Film at the Love Story London Film Festival Awards in 2022.
Across the 2010s and into the 2020s Bouillon built a steady filmography through collaborations with a number of French filmmakers.
