Bidisha De Majumdar was born on 7 November 2000 and raised in Naihati, West Bengal. She studied at Kalyani Mahavidyalaya in Kalyani, West Bengal. Bengali by ethnicity and Indian by nationality, Bidisha grew up in a family that included her parents—father Biswanath De Majumder, who worked as a health care and nutrition advisor, and her mother Pampa De Majumdar—and at least one sister.

As a young adult she lived and worked in Kolkata. She enjoyed painting and spending time with family and friends, and she was an animal lover who kept a pet dog.

Career

Bidisha worked as a freelance model and appeared in print advertising and photoshoots for regional photographers. Her print work included assignments such as campaigns for Ram Shyam Handicrafts. She began freelancing in 2019 and also made short-form videos on social platforms; she used TikTok until the app was banned in India in 2020 and later posted lip-sync and dance clips to Instagram.
