Boney Kapoor was born Achal Kapoor on 11 November 1953 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Raised in a film-oriented household, he is the son of producer Surinder Kapoor. The family later made Mumbai their home, and Boney attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help High School and St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. He is known by the nickname Boney and holds Indian nationality.
