Early life and background

Chaitra Hallikeri grew up in Hubballi and Bengaluru, Karnataka. She attended Vijaya High School in Bengaluru and is originally from Bengaluru. Her mother’s name is Shashikala Hallikeri and she has a sister named Nikhila Hallikeri. Public records show her nationality as Indian and her zodiac sign as Scorpio.

Career

Hallikeri started in the entertainment world as a model and was represented by the Gladrags modelling agency early in her career. She transitioned into Kannada cinema and made her film debut in 2003, appearing as Thamarai in Well Done. Over the next few years she acted in several Kannada films, including Khushi (2003), Gowdru (2004) where she played the role of Kaveri, Gunna (2005) and Shishya (2006).
