Darsh Chandrappa was born on 29 November 1994 in Bangalore, Karnataka. He grew up in a middle-class family in the city he still calls home. Educated in Bangalore, he completed a BCA and an MCA at PES University after attending St. Joseph’s College. He is bilingual in Kannada and also speaks Hindi and English.

Career

Darsh began his public career as a model while still in college. He walked runways at numerous fashion shows and shot for both national and international labels, including campaigns for Lee India and U.S. Polo Assn. He also competed in the Mr. and Miss Karnataka pageant in 2016 and later served as a jury member at several beauty pageants.

On screen, Darsh’s early television work included appearing in three different roles in the Tarang TV Kannada serial Durga in 2015. He went on to feature in the Colors Kannada serial Seetha Vallabha in 2018 and appeared in a number of Kannada short films. In 2022 he was featured in the music video for the Kannada song Abhignana.

Darsh expanded his professional interests into entrepreneurship. He founded Darsh Productions, a Bangalore-based broadcast and media production company of which he is the chief executive officer as of 2022. He has also launched a clothing label called Sory.
